Hands-on Training: Besides the classroom portion, hands-on training in safe firearm handling and shooting techniques is practiced. This can provide you with practical experience and confidence in using a handgun.
Certificate of Completion: Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. You must provide this certificate when applying for your concealed carry permit.
The concealed carry class covers topics such as firearm safety, handgun operation, marksmanship skills, North Carolina firearms laws, and the legal use of deadly force. The course is intended to ensure that individuals carrying concealed handguns know the responsibilities and legal implications of carrying a concealed weapon.

Handgun(s) will be available for rent and include ammo, if necessary. If choosing to rent a handgun, you must make contact before the start date of the class.
